Hôtels Gouverneur Trois-Rivières

Very nice people working the front desk. The hotel offers interior parking which comes in handy especially for snowy nights. We came here for a tournament then had to book again because of a snow storm passing through. Our first night was spent in room 420 then the second night we stayed in room 437. Both rooms were identical except for room 420 had mirrored closet doors while the other did not--not have those doors made the sink area roomier. But both rooms were spacious: two beds, tv, and a small fridge. Room 437 was located next to the ice machine and drink dispenser. We could hear the ice machine but it wasn't enough to keep us from sleeping well. The beds were comfortable and it seemed to me that there were two types of pillows; so you could pick which one was more comfortable for you. Yes there was a fitness room as well as swimming pool, but we didn't go to either so I couldn't tell you what condition they were in. We enjoyed our stay here, both nights.

As Manager of a hockey team, we needed a hotel to accommodate the whole team. Fortunately Sam was so friendly and professional and made sure our stay was great. Thank you to everyone for this unforgettable weekend.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Trois-Rivières that many might overlook due to some mixed reviews—but here’s my advice: book a room with a king-size bed on the 6th floor. Yes, the feel is a little dated, but that’s part of its charm. What you get in return is quiet comfort—I was amazed at how peaceful it was, even though the hotel was nearly 80% full on the 6th floor. I didn’t hear a peep from neighboring rooms all night, and I was able to focus on work. What really stood out to me? The underground garage, which is included at no extra charge (a rarity these days), and the location—just a short walk to boulevard des Forges, where restaurants of all kinds await you. Next time I’m in Trois-Rivières, I’ll be staying here again without hesitation.

I stayed in a business room with king bed. The room was very clean. Shower pressure is amazing. Good location downtown. Curtains keep the room nice and dark so it is easy to sleep in! The only room trouble I ran into was a problem with the coffee maker. There were a lot of grinds in it, it needed to be cleaned. I don't recommend eating the eggs if you have breakfast, they seemed very artificial/poorly cooked. The potatoes were soggy. Nice buffet otherwise, with a good selection. The bread pudding was delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay.

We had a good experience at Hôtel Gouverneur. The shower was broken in our original room, but the staff was excellent and moved us to an upgraded room for the duration of our stay. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated but our bed was clean and comfortable. There were a few small cleaning details that could be improved (ie. dead wasps on our window) but other than that, the hotel is decent. Merci!

Hotel was fine but nothing special. Rooms were clean and beds were nice but bathrooms were small and room fridge was noisy. Location is where this gotel shines.

Hotel a bit dated (hence the four stars for room), but they keep it very clean. The AC in my room was very noisy and the toilet kept on flushing by itself. The parking and the swimming pool were not available as they were apparently renovating. One good point is that rooms are a lot cheaper than the Delta/Marriott nearby.

Rooms are clean but very outdated. It is less expensive than other hotels around for a reason. Staff was very friendly. Hotel and surrounding were quiet during our stay. If you're there to save a buck or are on a business trip, you will survive. For a romantic getaway, I would suggest to go elsewhere. I still recommend the Gouverneur if you need a place to crash.
